Sales Associate
As a Sales Associate you will sell tires and tire related services. You will be primarily responsible for assisting the customer in selecting the appropriate tires necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the customer’s vehicle.
Responsibilities include:
- Achieve a thorough knowledge of all tires and tire related services
- Create and complete estimates and invoices
- Assist in maintaining control of company assets, including cash and personal information of customers
- Answer all incoming calls in a prompt and friendly manner
- Answer basic service related questions
- File work orders and all supporting documentation daily
- Assist other sales or service associates as needed in an effort to exceed our customer’s expectations
- Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the building and perimeter areas Implement and maintain a clean, well-organized and well-merchandised store
- Pick-up / deliver tires
- Pick-up / deliver customers to their work/home via the company’s courtesy shuttle
- Attend and participate in store meetings
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Comply with OSHA and EPA polices
Requirements include:
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Demonstrate exceptional telephone etiquette and active listening skills
- A strong ability to work with and relate to all types of customers and to earn their respect
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess basic computer skills
- Perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast paced working environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/carry up to 60 pounds
- Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles
- Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day
